Our CREATIVE CURRICULUM  is time tested and developmentally appropriate for young children and focuses on the child as an individual. We have incorporated the Georgia Early Learning Standards (GELDS) to our Curriculum. Our program uses Developmentally Appropriate Practices to provide a rich learning environment that encourages children’s natural curiosity and supports them to take risks that lead to new skill development. We work diligently to balance our Environment and Curriculum to meet the PHYSICAL (Gross & Fine Motor Skills), SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL and COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENTAL needs of each child, while responding to the individual needs of our families. A daily routine is set that encourages children to make choices which includes activities that meet the individual needs of all children. The routine will allow and encourage opportunities for talk and self-expression. We believe that it is important to a child’s development and sense of security to have a regular and consistent daily routine.

BRIDGESTONE ACADEMY recognizes the importance of building self-esteem at a very young age. We encourage a positive sense of self by using praise, encouraging independence and help them learn self-control, follow rules, make friends and learn what it means to be part of a group.

The staff believes that each family brings to the program values, language, diversity, and traditional customs and therefore, recognizes the importance of forming a partnership with the parents to create a positive experience for all children. We respect each child as an individual who possesses a unique personality, intelligence and creativity. WE strive to provide a stimulating environment designed to guide children to discover new information, skills and concept.
